🏃♂️ 12th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race
GCR is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 12th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race this year on Thanksgiving!!
📅 Pre-Race Packet Pick Up
- When: Tuesday 11/25 & Wednesday 11/26
- Where: Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S. Naples, FL 34102)
- Hours: 10AM-5PM
- Recommendation: Pre-race packet pick up is recommended!
🚨 Race Day Packet Pick Up
- Start Time: Race day starting at 6AM - NOT RECOMMENDED
- Arrival: Please arrive no later than 6:00am if you have not yet gotten your race number and shirt.
- Packet Availability: You may pick up your packet at the race ONLY from 6:00am-7:25am.
- Registration: NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.
👶 Kids Race Information
- Cost: Our kids races are free, but do NOT include a shirt!
- Registration: A parent must sign them up here in order to agree to the waiver.
- Medals: Medals are given to our kids, but likely a medal from a past Thanksgiving Day GCR race.
- Inclusivity: Walkers are welcome for both the 1 mile walk and the 5K. Come one, come all!
📍 Race Details
- Course: This beautiful course will start on 5th Avenue & wind through downtown Naples!
- Parking: Plenty of FREE parking (multiple 4 story parking garages within 200m of packet pickup).
- Shirts & Medals: Shirts to all paid participants! Race Medals to all finishers!
- Age Group Awards: 5 Deep, staged from Cambier Park.
🤲 Benefits
- Beneficiary: This race benefits St. Matthew's House and our Youth Development/ Scholarship Fund.
- Canned Goods: We are collecting canned goods for St. Matthew's House. Please bring your non-perishable items to packet pick-up or to the registration area on the day of the race.
- Community Spirit: This run/walk will be a GREAT way to start your Thanksgiving weekend!
- Course Duration: Course open for 90 minutes.
