The KING of Eagle Mountain Trail Challenge

🏞️ Race Overview

NEW for 2025, we finally figured out we don't have to run with 100 plus temps, this years challenge is set for Sunday October 12th. Find out how many loops of the hilliest part of Eagle Mountain Park trails you can conquer!

🕒 Race Details

• Loop Distance: A 3.3 mile loop, up and down.
• Duration: Options for 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours.
• Start Times: 6 hour division starts at 8am, 4 hour at 10am, and 2 hour at 12am.
• Contest: Who will be this year's Kings of Eagle Mountain?

🎽 Participant Amenities

• Sponsors: This run is co-sponsored by Altra Running and Darn Tough Socks.
• Gifts: Each participant will receive a fresh pair of Darn Tough trail socks, a commemorative t-shirt, and post run Brat fest.
• Limitations: Trails will be open to the public throughout the run: no pets, strollers, horses, bikes, or pack mules allowed.
• Entries: Limited to the first 90 billy goats to sign up.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up available at Bear Creek Running Co, Friday Oct 10 & Sat Oct 11 from 10 am-6pm. RACE DAY you may pick up your packets from sunrise thru your event start time (7:30ish till 11am).

💧 Event Format

• Type: This is a duration event and not a timed event.
• Lap Process: Each lap you will get your bib punched and a pat on the back.
• Nutrition: Water and nutrition available at the check in station for each loop.
• Park Hours: Park opens at sunrise: typical sunrise on Oct 12 is 7:30 AM.
