12th Annual Fall Foliage 5K & 10K Run/Walk
Saturday, October 19th, 2024 (rain or shine event)

🍂 Event Overview

• Location: 84 Foster Center Road, Foster, RI
• Course: Enjoy a crisp fall morning run/walk through the beautiful northwestern Rhode Island countryside.
• Sights: The challenging course takes you down quiet country roads, passing historic sites and homes, pastoral meadows, and picturesque farmland.
• Note: The Swamp Meadow covered bridge will be closed for maintenance through November 1st, affecting the 10K course.

📅 Registration Details

• Pre-Registration: $30: Day-Of Registration price increases to $35.
• New this year: 12 and Under 5K Registration is $15: Day-Of Registration price increases to $20.
• Guarantee: Register by October 1st to be guaranteed a race shirt!
• Shirts: Available on a first-come, first-served basis after October 1st.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 7 AM: Check-In & Day-Of Registration Opens
• 9 AM: Runners to Start Line: race begins at 9:00 AM sharp!
• Important: No bibs will be issued after the race has begun.
• Start/Finish: All races start and end in the town center.

💡 Helpful Info

• Online Registration: Closes on October 18th at 11:59 PM.
• Parking: Plenty of free parking and port-a-potties on site.
• Family Friendly: This is a dog and stroller-friendly event! Please keep your dog leashed at all times!

🏆 Prizes

• Door Prize Raffle: All participants will be entered to win a $100 Gift Certificate.
• Winners: $50 cash prize & maple syrup to overall male and female winners from Foster in each race (10K & 5K).
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female in each age group for both races.
