Join us for the 38th annual Salmon Run which returns to Bend, Oregon on April 18, 2026.
Race Distances
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K: A great challenge for runners
- 5K: Perfect for beginners
- Course Features: Weaving along the beautiful Deschutes River
Event Overview
- Season Kick-off: One of the first running events of the season
- Scenic Views: Trails amidst junipers and pines
- Finish Line: On the lawn of Riverbend Park
- Weekend Fun: Make a weekend of it in Central Oregon
Course Details
- Half Marathon: 75% paved sidewalks, 25% trail
- 10K: 80% paved sidewalks, 20% trail
- 5K: 65% paved sidewalks, 35% trail
- Markers: Mile markers and directional arrows will be present
Finish Line Festivities
- Post-Race Party: Enjoy delicious food and beverages (including beer!)
- Entertainment: Live music to enjoy after the race
- Awards: Gift bags and awards for top finishers
- Ribbons: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ribbons for top age-group finishers
Parking for Race Day
- Limited Parking: Available at Riverbend Park
- Carpooling: Highly recommended
- Parking Attendants: Will direct you as you arrive
