Join us for the inaugural New Jersey Running Festival, proudly presented by SILVERMAN, Jersey City’s most trusted landlord. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best in the 10K, chasing the competition in the Pro Mile, enjoying a casual jog in the 5K, or cheering on the next generation in the Kids Fun Run, there’s something for everyone. Friends, family, and spectators are all welcome to explore the expo, soak in waterfront views, and revel in the festive atmosphere.

📅 Race Day & Festival

Monday, October 13 (Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples Day)

Festival Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Owen Grundy Park & Pier, Exchange Place

Across Owen Grundy Park and the adjacent pier, enjoy:

• Live music: DJs will be performing live.
• Kids’ activity zone: Fun activities for children.
• Sponsor booths: Giveaways and contests available.

🏁 Course & Permitting

Course: Waterfront loop(s) around Exchange Place, with possible extension into the Newport waterfront district—final route to be announced.

• Permits: Preliminary city approval granted: full permits pending and expected before the event.

The New Jersey Running Festival is proudly produced by NJRF LLC, a for-profit organization committed to making a meaningful impact in our local community. This year, proceeds from the event will support the Youth Foundation of Jersey City, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people through education, mentorship, and enrichment programs.

For every race registration, $5 will be donated directly to the Youth Foundation, along with additional contributions from event sponsors. A ceremonial check presentation will take place during the awards ceremony on October 13th, at the conclusion of the festival day.
