Event Cancellation Announcement

The Foundation For Allen Schools is announcing the cancellation of the Allen Eagle Run scheduled for Saturday, March 7, due to severe weather forecasts.

Weather Forecast

• Severe Thunderstorms: Forecasts indicate severe thunderstorms are expected Friday evening and Saturday morning.
• Volunteer Safety: These conditions limit the ability of volunteers to safely set up the race.
• Dangerous Conditions: May create dangerous conditions for runners, participants, students, and volunteers during the event.
• Severe Risks: The forecasted storms may bring lightning, hail, and/or tornadoes into the area.

Safety Prioritization

Safety remains the top priority for the Foundation For Allen Schools. Based on the forecast and potential risks, the decision was made to cancel the event to protect all participants and volunteers.

Logistical Limitations

Due to logistical limitations, a backup date is not available.
