🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Bauman's Charity Race is WEDNESDAY JULY 30th at Kettering University! Partial proceeds will go towards the Vocational Independence Program - VIP.

📝 Race Details

• Date: Wednesday, July 30th 2025 - 6:00 PM
• Starting Time:
  • Superhero 1/2K Dash starts at 5:45 PM.
  • The 5K Run and Walk starts at 6:00 PM.
  • 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk starts at 6:20 PM.
• Location: Kettering University Recreation Center—1700 W. Third Ave, Flint, MI 48504.
• Course: 100% paved through beautiful Mott Park residential area, around the park, golf course, touching parts of the Crim and Old Tuuri courses. Great downhill finish.

📅 Registration

• Early Registration: Must be postmarked by July 24th, 2025.
• Late Registration & Packet Pick-Up:
  • At Bauman's Running & Walking Shop, July 29th, from 12:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • On Race Day from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • Race Day Registration also available at Kettering at 5:00 PM.

💲 Entry Fee

• All Registrations: Receive a High Quality Tech-Shirt!
• On or before July 24th: $30.00 (Late Registration - $35.00)
• Students (High School & Under): On or before July 24th - $15.00 (Late Registration - $20.00)
• Kid's Superhero 1/2K: On or before July 24th - $10.00 (Late Registration - $15.00)

🏅 Awards

• Overall and Masters Male and Female: Win a $50.00 gift certificate from Bauman's Running & Walking Shop.
• All Entries: Receive a T-shirt and $5.00 off any purchase at Bauman's Running & Walking Shop.
• First Place Finishers: Each age group will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to Bauman's.
• Special Awards: All participants in the Super Hero and 1 Mile will receive a special award.

👥 Age Groups

• Runners: Awards to Overall and Masters, male & female in various age categories from 12 & under to 80 and over.
• Heavyweight Division: Three special award categories for men based on weight. Check the appropriate box on the entry form.
• Walkers: Male & female awards in various age categories from 19 & under to 80 and over.

🥤 Refreshments

Lots of great refreshments, veggies and fruit at the finish.
