Runners, walkers, and nature enthusiasts! You are invited to enjoy the beauty of fall on the trails at Woldumar Nature Center.

Join us on Sunday, November 1st for the 18th Annual Woldumar Trail Run presented by Lake Trust Credit Union!

🌳 About Woldumar Nature Association

The Woldumar Nature Association is a Lansing, MI based nonprofit that engages over 7,000 students in outdoor education each year. You'll enjoy the beauty of our prairie, pine forest, wetlands, and hardwood forest as you run along the Grand River on over 180 acres protected by the Association.

Not only is this the perfect fall run on a beautiful course, but most importantly your participation supports quality science education that instills passion for the natural world in young people throughout the Greater Lansing Area. Your support furthers our mission: "To educate people about the natural environment."

📝 Important Details

• Pre-registration: To streamline the event day, pre-registration is required. There will not be a race-day registration option.
• Course Surface: The course has varied natural running surfaces (no pavement) so we encourage you to run cautiously.
• Refreshments: Refreshments are provided after the race.
• Children's Activities: Children's activities are offered during and after the 5K event.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed on the course during the in-person event, but are welcome on the trails during other times while the course is up.
• Strollers: Participants may walk with strollers, but should be prepared for a rugged and varied terrain.
• Shirts: Long-sleeve shirts are included with registration. Additional shirts may be purchased for $20 at the race while supplies last. Shirts not guaranteed after 10/16/2026.
• Early Packet Pickup: Early Packet pickup will be held on Friday, October 30th from 4-6pm at the Woldumar Nature Center, inside the Merry Olds Room.
• Day-of Pickup: Day-of Packet pickup starts at 8:00 am the day of the event.
• Start Times: Muskrat Mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 am. 5K run/walk starts at 9:30 am.
• Location: Woldumar Nature Center is located at 5739 Old Lansing Rd, Lansing MI 48917.

• 5K Registration:
  • 8/1/26-8/31/26: Individual Registration: $30
  • 9/1/26-10/1/26: Individual Registration: $35
  • 10/2/26-11/1/26: Individual Registration: $40
  • Deadline: Deadline to secure desired shirt size: 10/16/2026
  • Group Registration Discount: Save $5 per person when registering 4 or more at the same time.
• Muskrat Mile Registration: FREE thanks to our generous sponsor, Delta Dental.
• Donations: Donate $50 and receive $25 off your entry fee.
• Complimentary Registration: Donate $100 and receive complimentary registration.
• Support: Thank you for considering a donation. All donations and proceeds from the 5K support quality environmental education and land protection!

🏆 Awards

• First Place: Hand-made natural wood plaques for overall first place for all genders.
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medallions for all participants.
• Age Group Awards: 1st-3rd place awarded in each age group all genders: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
• Results: Results will be live during the race and available afterward on RunSignup in the results tab at the top.
• Timing: The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
