Downingtown Good Neighbor Day - Firetrucks and Fireworks 2026

🎉 Event Overview

Downingtown Good Neighbor Day benefits the Fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District. Good Neighbor Day is a day long event that starts with the Run for Life 5K, 10K, 15K or 5K Freedom Walk. Approximately 1,500 athletes participate each year. Throughout the day you can enjoy fabulous food, visit 80-100 craft exhibitors or simply enjoy one of the many activities scheduled for the day. The day is capped off with a Fireworks Grand Finale that starts at dusk.

🏃‍♂️ Run for Life

$50 to top male and female
GND T-shirts for all registered runners.
Medals for the 1st three male and female finishers in each category.
Runner's Bibs and GND T-shirt Pick-up at the Gazebo in Kerr Park - July 3rd from 11 AM till 7 PM, July 4th from 6:00 AM till 7:50 AM.
Race starts at 8:00 AM.

🚶‍♀️ 5K Freedom Walk

GND T-shirts for registered walkers.
This is a FUN walk! Families are encouraged and strollers are just fine! Walk starts at 8:00 AM behind the runners.

🏅 Kids K Fun Run
