Event Overview
Downingtown Good Neighbor Day benefits the Fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District. Good Neighbor Day is an all-day event that starts with the Run for Life 5K, 10K, 15K or 5K Freedom Walk. Approximately 2,000 athletes participate each year. Throughout the day you can enjoy fabulous food, visit 80-100 craft exhibitors or simply enjoy one of the many activities scheduled for the day. The day is capped off with a Fireworks Grand Finale that starts at dusk.

- Minquas Fire and EMS: Fire and emergency medical services.
- Uwchlan Ambulance: Ambulance and paramedic services.
- East Brandywine Fire Company: Local fire department serving the community.
- Lionville Fire Company: Fire protection and rescue services.
- Glenmoore Fire Company: Community fire prevention and response.
- West Bradford Fire Company: Firefighting and emergency services.
Run for Life Details
- Awards: $100 to top male and female runners.
- Participant Gear: GND T-shirts for all registered runners.
- Commemorative Medal: 250th Medal for ALL runners.
- Finisher Medals: Medals for 1st three male and female finishers in each category.
- Pickup Information: Runner's Bibs and GND T-shirt Pick-up at the Gazebo in Kerr Park - July 3rd from 10 AM till 7 PM, July 4th from 6:00 AM till 7:50 AM.
- Race Start: 8:00 AM.

- Event Type: This is a FUN walk! Families are encouraged and strollers are just fine!
- Walk Start: 8:00 AM behind the runners.
Kids K Fun Run
- Medals: Medals awarded to all finishers.
- T-Shirts: T-shirts for all entrants.
- Race Start: 10:00 AM.
- Entry Fee: Non-refundable.
