Race Overview

• Event: Scenic 5K trail run or walk.
• Course: Winding through the countryside of Castile, NY.
• Experience: Cross dirt and gravel paths, enjoy views of rolling farm fields.
• Moment: Snap a selfie with friendly cows along the way.

What to Wear

• Style: Think big hair, bold colors, and retro vibes!
• Attire: Neon spandex or leg warmers.
• Accessories: Fanny packs and headbands & sweatbands.
• Fun: 80s band tees or tracksuits, bright tutus, and anything radically retro.

What to Expect

• Format: Point-to-point race from Buried Barrel to Pankow Farms apple orchard.
• Finish Line: Complimentary water, bananas, and (optional) hard cider.
• Transportation: "Jimmy" rides and wagon rides back to the cidery every 15 minutes.
• Food: Diner on the Run food truck will be present with discounts for race participants.

Age Groups

• Open To: All ages, but no strollers or dogs on the trail.
• Pets: Friendly, leashed pets are welcome at the cidery.
• Safety: Concerns for pets running off due to the trail conditions.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top overall finishers and the last person crossing the finish line.
• Records: Overall finishers will hold course records.
• Recognition: Last person named "Person Irrelevant," celebrating the underdog spirit.
