Lace up and hit the trails for a morning of strength, spirit, and community. The Tough Cookie Run is more than a 5K — it’s a celebration of resilience, nature, and giving back. This year’s race supports the Jefferson High School Football Team, helping fund resources and opportunities for local student-athletes.
Inclusive Participation
Walkers and hikers are welcome — this is an inclusive event for all who want to move with meaning.
Parking Information
- On-Site Parking: Available, but please do not block driveways or mailboxes: you will be towed.
- Additional Options: Parking at Little Nikki's and on the side street by Bridge Marina.
- Carpooling: Encouraged for convenience and space.

- Legacy: This race honors Lynette Denson, founder of Tru Nature Yoga and a beloved part of our community.
- Inspiration: In 2020, Lynette completed this very trail — 3.1 miles — just weeks after a hip replacement and in the midst of her fight with cancer.
