7th Annual Barky Pines Puppy Love 5K Run/Walk

We are so excited to announce our 7TH Annual Puppy Love 5k Race and Walk on FEB 07,2026.

Thank you so much for joining us! Your support means the world to us and the animals we rescue. You are running/walking for THEM! The race will be held at Commons Park, located at 11600 Poinciana Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.

TIMELINE

• Check-in: Race Day check-in will begin at 7:00 AM. Early check-in and packet pick-up will be announced as we are closer to race day.
• National Anthem: Our National Anthem will be at approximately 7:45 AM.
• Race Start: The race starts at 8:00 AM.
• Activities: Costume contest awards, Chance Raffle drawings, Vendors, Sponsor booths, & More.

Registration

If you haven't already, please register your pet. We want to be sure to have their packets ready too. If your pet is participating in the costume contest, be sure to sign up for them either at early check-in or when you arrive on race day. You get your costume contest voting sheet at the registration booth to choose your favorite dressed-up pet!

If you haven't told your family, friends, and neighbors about the race, please do! Share on social media using the hashtag #puppylove5k.

Group Formation: Group formation is made available and provides discounts for groups of over four.

Activities

Along with the Pet Costume Contest, come early and visit with adorable and adoptable pets.

Take a chance on the AMAZING raffle prizes that sponsors donated. Visit our sponsor's booths. Have some fun with photo opportunities and be sure to see our Race photographer Leonard Bryant for amazing photos. Race warm-up. Enjoy music by DJ RIZZ and our Emcee will keep you motivated!

Race Options

Virtual Race: For those wishing to do a virtual race at your own pace.

Fun Run/Walk (With or Without Pets): No pressure, and those wishing to dress up their pet and take them on a stroll - come as you are!

We will have a pet costume contest and fun photo ops, along with raffle prizes for the winners!

Of course, Barky Pines' finest adoptables will be available for adoption!

Course Information

With each race we learn and strive to put on a better event each time. Course maps will be sent to all participants prior to race day: please familiarize yourself with this beautiful park trail. Please also watch for signs and volunteers guiding you. Most of all, HAVE FUN! It's all about pets!
