Hosted by the First Generation Student Organization at Northeastern State University
As the sun sets, the race lights up—literally!
Join us for the first-ever ✨ FGSO Glow 5K✨ a fun, safe, family-friendly event open to all ages and fitness levels! Whether you're running, walking, or dancing your way through the course, everyone’s invited to GLOW!
📅 Event Details
- When: November 6, 2025
- Cost: $30 for 5k / $25 for 1 mile walk
- Race Time: 5:30 pm
- Location: The FIT at Northeastern State University (530 N Oak Ave)
👕 Registration Perks
The first 50 people to register will receive a free T-shirt!
🏃♀️ Race Highlights
- Illuminating Experience: Runners will illuminate the course with glowsticks, neon colors, and high energy.
- Course: The race will begin and end in front of The FIT and will consist of three full loops of our lit up course.
- Community Involvement: Runners will enjoy seeing fun glowing displays, representing other student organizations around campus.
- Finish Line Rewards: Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a medal and special prizes for top 5k finishers.
Although there will not be a professional timing company present, we will have someone at the finish line recording everyone's time.

🔥 Post-Race Celebration
Everyone is invited to join NSU's First-Gen Day Celebration at Second Century Square to enjoy FREE S'MORES by the fire.
