🌄 Race Overview

The Shawangunk Runners, in conjunction with the Wallkill Valley Land Trust, present the Rosendale Runs Half Marathon. Come experience breathtaking scenic views around every bend amid the fall foliage. A mostly flat course that is 93% on an unpaved but well-groomed section of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail with two short sojourns off the rail trail to add a little spice and provide just enough challenge to offer a sense of accomplishment.

• Location: Town of Rosendale, NY, just 90 miles from NYC
• Scenic Views: Experience charming and quirky Village of Rosendale
• Historic Landmark: Cross the 146-year-old Rosendale Trestle bridge
• Nature Trail: Run along scenic lakes and through a 'cave' at Williams Lake Project

💰 Proceeds and Registration Fees

All proceeds go to the Wallkill Valley Land Trust, whose mission is to improve, protect, and maintain the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail for public use and enjoyment. The event has a cap of 300 starters. Online registration is $30 for the half marathon and $25 for the 6K run/walk.

• Half Marathon: Cap of 300 starters with a cutoff of three hours and fifteen minutes
• T-shirts: Guaranteed to all who register by September 15
• Refreshments: Plentiful refreshments provided
• Awards: Unique awards in all standard 10-year age groups

📅 Race Day Details

Packet pick up race day begins at 7:30 am with both races starting at 8:30 am.
