Welcome to the 2026 Schoolyard Run + Walk

Lace up your sneakers and join us for The 2026 Schoolyard Run + Walk, hosted by the Rich-Mar Rotary Satellite Club! This community-focused 5K run and walk is open to participants of all ages and abilities, offering a chance to get active while making a difference close to home.

Proceeds and Beneficiaries

• Scholarships: Proceeds from this event benefit Legacy Rotarian Member's Scholarships, empowering the next generation of student leaders.
• Support for Survivors: Young Adult Survivors United (YASU) supports young adult cancer survivors and caregivers/co-survivors.
• Mission: YASU's mission is to help survivors cope and thrive by providing emotional, social & financial support.

Event Highlights

• 5K Course: Fun and welcoming 5K course for both runners and walkers.
• 1 Mile Walk: A 1 Mile Walk for those wanting to support but don't want to commit to 3.1 miles!
• Community Support: Supports scholarships, programs, and YASU Group initiatives.
• Family-Friendly: A family-friendly atmosphere with community spirit at the heart.
• Awards: Awards and recognition for top finishers.
• Join Us: Come out and be part of this exciting day of fitness, fellowship, and philanthropy. Together, we can turn every mile into meaningful impact!

Race Weekend Information

• Parking: There will be plenty of parking available at the school. Volunteers will be on-site to help direct traffic and assist you in finding a spot.
• Raffle: Bring extra cash for raffle basket drawings and a 50/50 raffle, with chances to win fantastic prizes.
• Packet Pickup: To help make race morning easier, we encourage participants to pick up their race packets in advance at Stick City Brewing Company from 6:00–8:00 PM on June 18th and June 19th.
• Race Day Registration: If you still need to register or have friends and family who would like to join us, day-of-race registration will open at 7:00 AM.
