City Point Race Series

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for our Annual City Point 5k race, or join us for our new 10k race or our 1/4 mile mobility race!

🌟 Event Collaboration

• Organizers: The City Point 5k, 10k, 1/4 mile, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash are brought to you by the collaboration of John Randolph Foundation, Hopewell Recreation and Parks, City of Hopewell and Tri-Cities Road Runners.
• Participation: The City Point Races, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash attract participation from runners, joggers and walkers from all across Central Virginia!
• Course Views: The 5k and 10k provide participants with a breathtaking view of the Appomattox River while exploring downtown Hopewell and historic City Point.

📅 Packet Pickup

We encourage participants to pick up their packets on Friday, October 10th.

📝 Registration Information

• Early Registration: Register early to claim your t-shirt and avoid late fees. Please visit the race webpage for additional information regarding registration, packet pickup, parking, race route, timing and more!

💵 5K / Quarter Mile Fees

• Adults (18+): $25 through Oct 8th, $35 Oct 9th & 10th
• Kids (8-17): Free
• Shirts: Not guaranteed after September 24th.

🏅 10K Fees

• Adults (18+): $40 through Oct 8th, $50 Oct 9th & 10th
• Kids (12-17): Free
• Shirts: Not guaranteed after September 24th.

👶 Kids Fun Run and Kinder-Dash

• Cost: Free, registration required (t-shirt pickup day of race only)

🗓️ Event Schedule

• Friday: 3:30 - 7 pm - 5k/10k/Quarter Mile Packet Pickup (Kids Fun Run and Kinder-Dash pickup on day of race only)
• Saturday:
  • 6:00 - 7:00 - 5k Packet Pickup
  • 7:30 - City Point 5k/10k/Quarter Mile
  • 10:30 - Kinder Dash
  • 10:45 - Kids Fun Run
