🏰 Race Significance

This race deserves to be on every runner's bucket-list and will indeed be on every runner's “best race” list. Nestled in the blue ridge mountains, the Biltmore Estate was built for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895 and holds the record of being the largest privately owned house in the United States.

💙 Community Impact

The Biltmore-Kiwanis Classic 15k and 5k races have been running on the estate since 1997 and act as the biggest fundraiser for Asheville’s Kiwanis Club.
