2026 Grand Junction Fire Fighters Foundation GJ Turkey Trot
5K GJ Turkey Trot & Little Gobbler Kids Run - Join over 3,000 people that have made the GJ Turkey Trot part of their Thanksgiving tradition. Come out and run, jog or walk through over 3 miles of Colorado Mesa University's beautiful campus. This is a family event so load your kids in the stroller and bring them along.
Date and Time
- Thanksgiving Morning: Thursday, November 26th, 2026
- 9:00 AM: Little Gobbler Kids Run - A free kids fun run for children 8 and under. The kids will run 1 lap around the track and finish while being cheered on by the crowd. The run is free and every child will receive a small prize.
- 9:30 AM: 5K GJ Turkey Trot - A family event that winds through over 3 miles of Colorado Mesa University's beautiful campus. Come out to break a PR or just enjoy a walk with family and friends. We welcome all ages and abilities so feel free to bring the strollers.

- Early Registration: Free Under 5 / $20 Ages 5-15 / $30 Ages 16+
- Late Registration: Starting 11/24/26 - Free Under 5 / $20 Ages 5-15 / $40 Ages 16+
