MiCHN 5K & 1-mile run/walk

Join us for a MiCHN fundraiser 5k and 1 mile run/walk at Homeschool 'Day At The Dome' 2026 at the Capitol on October 13th, 2026!

📍 Location

• Venue: Michigan State Capitol Complex (Lansing)
• Date: October 13, 2026
• Start time: run at 9:30am, walk at 10:30am
• Events: 5k and 1-mile Run/Walk

💵 Event Pricing

• Under 5: FREE (no t-shirt)
• Ages 5-12: $10 until 9/22, $15 from 9/23 to 9/30, $20 from 10/1 to 10/13
• Ages 13-18: $20 until 9/22, $25 from 9/23 to 9/30, $30 from 10/1 to 10/13
• Ages 19+: $35 until 9/22, $40 from 9/23 to 9/30, $45 from 10/1 to 10/13

Special age-based pricing is automatically applied during registration.

👕 Race T-shirts

• Inclusions: T-shirts are included with registration thru September 30th.
• Availability: T-shirts are not included with registrations after 9/30.
• Sizes: Adult and Youth Sizes available.

🏞️ Course Details

• Path: The entire run/walk is on the Capitol complex - concrete sidewalk/paved path (no city streets).
• Distance: The 5k is a 3-loop course.

🏆 Awards

• 5k Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place per age category for Male and Female: 5-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40 and over.
• Grand Master: Top male and female over 50.
• Senior Master: Top male and female over 60.
• 1 Mile Awards: Top male and female for the age groups 5-10 and age 11-14.

⏱️ Results

The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the event and texted to you as you cross the finish line.
