• Organizer: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Detroit Auto Show, and the Friends of the Outdoor Adventure Center

🏁 Race Details

• Route: The route will take place along the Detroit Riverfront and start/finish outside the doors of the Detroit Auto Show.
• Proceeds: All proceeds of the event will help update the exhibits at the Outdoor Adventure Center.
• Packet Pick Up: Early packet pick up will take place on Friday, January 16 from 4PM until 6PM at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Race day packet pick up will take place one hour prior to the race start time at Huntington Place.
• Awards: Awards will be given to first place overall and first place in each age category.

🎟️ Detroit Auto Show Tickets

• Discount: Tickets to the Detroit Auto Show (public days) can be purchased at a discount through the 5K event. Tickets are discounted by 25%.
• Pricing: Adult tickets will be available for $15 ($20 at the door), senior tickets for $9 ($12 at the door), and kid's tickets for $7.50 ($10 at the door).
• Sale End: Auto Show ticket sales end on January 10 to allow time for pick up.

🏆 Age Categories

• Categories: Awards will be given for ages: 14 and under: 15-19: 20-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75 and up.
