The Lung Run is more than a race—it’s a movement to a brighter future and way for you to get out & get active with family & friends. This endurance event brings together runners, walkers, and supporters to raise awareness for adults living with cystic fibrosis. Every mile reflects the grit it takes to breathe through life with CF—and every step pushes forward the fight for better care, family-building support, and a life without limits.

🎁 Participant Rewards

• Swag: Participants get rewarded with swag for the more laps they complete and can show up at time between 9AM and 12PM on December 14th.
• Free Shirt: Register and get a free shirt.
• Custom Patch: Complete 2 laps (5k+) for a custom patch.
• Custom Socks: Complete 4 laps and receive a custom pair of socks.
• Custom Hat: Complete 8 laps and receive a custom hat.

The race course is set up around Wake Med Soccer Park with the start and finish leaving from Fenton in Cary. Whether you’re looking to get a solid run in or showing up in solidarity, your effort fuels real change.
