Event Overview

Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with one of Huntington, West Virginia’s favorite holiday traditions: the 20th Annual Huntington Turkey Trot at Ritter Park! Open to seasoned runners, casual walkers, or anyone just looking for some festive fun before the big meal, this 5K fun run/walk is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Bring your kids, your dogs, your strollers! This is fun for the whole family all to benefit Little Victories Animal Rescue Group.

• Community: Join families, friends, and neighbors to create memories and burn some pre-bird calories.
• Charity: Help animals in need this Thanksgiving!

About Little Victories

Proceeds from the Huntington Turkey Trot benefit Little Victories Animal Rescue, a lifesaving, no-kill shelter and sanctuary for dogs and cats in Ona, West Virginia.

• Care: Safe, loving shelter for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals throughout the community.
• Support: Medical care, enrichment, and rehabilitation for pets in need.
• Adoption: Programs to match animals with forever homes.
• Sanctuary: A safe haven for long-term and special-needs residents.

By lacing up for the Turkey Trot, you help Little Victories continue its mission to give every animal a chance at life, love, and a second chance. We will also be collecting donations of much-needed items during packet pickup and on race day.
