Join us for the Nelson County Up & Running 5K. We believe people working together is our superpower and we look forward to sharing the morning with you at Thomas Nelson High School. Here are the details for the event:

Date and Location

• Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026
• Location: Thomas Nelson High School
• Race Start: 8:00 AM
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:00 AM

Course Information

The course for 2026 is a light trail event and utilizes Thomas Nelson's Cross Country Course. Strollers are not advised.

Event Details

This event benefits the Nelson County Schools UP Foundation and the Imagination Library, helping children across Nelson County build brighter futures through literacy and educational opportunities. Learn more at theupfoundation.net.

Registration

FREE ENTRY – Donations are encouraged to support the Imagination Library:

• $25: Fund One Child For A Year
• $50: Fund Two Children For A Year
• $100: Fund Four Children For A Year
• Or: Any amount you choose

T-Shirts

Commemorative race tees are available for $15 (sales tax included).

• Adult Sizes: 2XL, XL, L, M, S
• Child Sizes: XS, S, M, L
• Deadline to order: October 2, 2026

Awards will be given to the Top Male & Female Finishers in each age group:

• 12 & Under
• 13–18
• 19–29
• 30–39
• 40–49
• 50–59
• 60 & Older
