Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K and 10K

Event Overview

• Celebration: Come join us as we celebrate the birth and birthplace of President Abraham Lincoln!
• Date & Time: The Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K, 10K, and Kid's Run take place on Saturday, October 3rd at 8:15 am.
• Location: 100 S Lincoln Blvd (Behind the Sweet Shoppe), Hodgenville, KY.

Race Details

• Course: This is an open road race with a heavy volunteer presence. All races are cupless.
• Water Stations: There will be a water refill station for 10K runners: 5K runners should carry water if needed.
• Pet Policy: No Pets are allowed on the course or in the festival area.
• Start Times: 5K starts at 8:15 am, 10K starts at 8:15 am, Kid's Dash starts at 8:20 am.

Race Highlights

• 5K Course: An out-and-back route from downtown Hodgenville.
• 10K Course: A loop through the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park, running past the Lincoln Memorial.
• Photo Opportunity: Be sure to pose for a photo with the Lincoln Memorial in the background!
• Turnaround Time: 10K runners must reach the Lincoln Birthplace turnaround by 9:15 am.

Finisher Rewards & Awards

• Finisher Medal: Runners will receive a special Honest Abe finisher's medal.
• Bonus Shirt: A bonus race t-shirt for those who register by September 18, 2026.
• Awards: Given to the Top Two overall male & female finishers in the 5K and 10K races.
• Handcrafted Awards: Special handcrafted awards will be given to overall winners in both races.

Post-Race Activities

• Entertainment: Live music and food and drink options will be available in downtown Hodgenville.
• Community: Consider staying for a fun post-race environment!
• Packet Pickup: Held on race morning beginning at 7:15 am.
• Routes Information: Special day-of permit required for race routes.
