The Race for a Place 5K & 10K Run/Walk

Race Overview

Join us for the 3rd Annual Front Porch Housing - Race for a Place!

On Saturday, October 3rd, we come together to raise awareness for supportive housing, raise funding for supportive services, and celebrate our community. The Race for a Place is a 5K/10K race around the Front Porch property and neighboring Greenville Technical Campus. So, whether you're a runner, walker, donor, and/or supporter, we invite you to join us.

• Location: 1433 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29607

Packet Pickup Information

• Pickup: Packet pick up for your race bib and supplies will be on Friday, October 2nd between 10:00am - 2:00pm in the ClubHouse at Front Porch Housing (1433 Cleveland Street).
• Same-Day Registration: Day of race registration will be available prior to the start of the race from 7:00-7:30 am.

Kids Policy

• Age: Children 7 years old and under are free – no registration required.
• Race Shirt: Free participants will not receive a race shirt. If you’d like a shirt, you must register: the smallest available size is Adult XS.
• Registration: Children under 8 years old are welcome to register if desired: they will receive an official race time but will not be placed in an awards division.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome.

Animal Policy

• Restrictions: For the safety and comfort of all participants, animals are not permitted on the race course or at the event, even if they are leashed.

• Top Awards: Top Overall Male and Female & Top 3 Per Age Group, Male and Female Divisions
