This is a Healthy Heart! Healthy Mind Event! Hosted by Colonial Sports at the Meadows.

🏁 Race Details

• Date and Location: 2025-11-29 at 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
• Start Times:
  • 8K begins at 10 AM
  • 2 Mile Run/Walk and Ruck starts at 9:55 AM
• Timing: Both races are chip-timed.

🎽 8K Race Information

• Custom T-shirt: Long-sleeve race t with size guaranteed if registered by Nov 19th, 2025.
• Finisher Medal: First 300 8K participants receive a die cast finisher medal.
• Scenic Route: Participants run on the beautiful Capital Trail with gorgeous scenery from miles 2-4.
• Awards: Top three men and women overall, and in age groups listed (14 and under through 75 and over).

🏅 2 Mile Race Information

• Custom T-shirt: Long-sleeve race t with size guaranteed if registered by Nov 19th, 2025.
• Finisher Medal: First 200 finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
• Course: Run on the service road paralleling Jamestown Rd, heading to a turnaround on Landfall and back.
• Awards: Top three male and female overall, and in age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over, along with Ruck and Weighted Vest Finishers.

🍕 Post-Race Refreshments

• Food: All 8K and 2 Mile finishers receive a hot slice of pizza.
• Drinks: Other race refreshments and complimentary Alewerks Beer for those of legal drinking age.
• Entertainment: Music provided by DJ Dreux after the race.

🛍️ Food Donation Initiative

• Donation Request: All 8K and 2 Mile participants are asked to donate 35 lbs. of non-perishable food for the Food Bank.
• Goal: Aim to donate 10,000 lbs of food this year.
• Recipients: Donations will support the Salvation Army, House of Mercy, Fish, Grove Christian Outreach, and St. Olafs.
• Drop-off: Items can be dropped off at the store or at the race.
