5K FOR LIFE

Event Overview

🏃‍♀️ Run, Walk, or Stroll with us at our 4th Annual 5K For Life at Mike Lewis Park, Grand Prairie! Come & make a difference in the community. New runners and families are welcome to join the 5K. Our vision for this annual 5k is to inspire our community to lock arms with the Grand Prairie Pregnancy Resource Center and promote awareness and support. We will have local vendors from our region with us to come and celebrate!

Packet Pickup Information

• Pre-Packet Pickup Location: Just Love Coffee
  1020 Mayfield Rd Ste 600, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Date: Thursday April 16th
• From: 3 pm-6 pm
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Mike Lewis Park (race site) 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 From: 6:30 a.m.- 7:30 a.m.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Aid station: Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep the course clean for runners.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
• Contact: cpcgplife@sbcglobal.net if you or anyone you know wishes to volunteer.
• Encouragement: Feel free to bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage runners.

Awards

🏆 Awards will be provided for Male and Female Overall, as well as the Top 3 Male and Female in various age categories: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 & more.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold. Hence, we have a strict no-refund policy.
• Extreme Weather: The start time of this event may be delayed by up to half an hour if conditions are severe.
• Unsafe Conditions: The event may be canceled if conditions become risky due to lightning, ice, etc.
• Future Participation: If you cannot participate or if the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal.
