About the Organizers

• Who We Are: The Pregnancy Resource Center of Grand Prairie is a non-profit organization that has been a pillar within our community for over 30 years—impacting over 45,000 families!
• What We Do: We offer FREE practical assistance, resources, education, and care for moms, dads, and families facing unexpected pregnancies.
• Mission: Our vision for this annual 5k is to inspire our community to lock arms with the Grand Prairie Pregnancy Resource Center and promote awareness and support.
• Community Involvement: We will have local vendors from our region with us to come and celebrate!

Volunteer Opportunities

• Aid Station: Provide water to participants and keep the course clean.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
• Contact: Email cpcgplife@sbcglobal.net if you wish to volunteer.
• Fun: Bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

Awards

• Categories: Male and Female Overall winners.
• Top Places: Top 3 Male and Female for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
• Age Groups: Awards for ages 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79.
• Recognition: Celebrate community and athletic achievement!

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain, shine, or snow, or cold. No-refund policy in effect.
• Weather Delays: In extreme weather, the start time may be delayed by up to half an hour.
• Safety First: Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Runner Options: If you can't participate, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and run the race on your own time.
