🔥 Event Relocation Announcement

The Shaver Lake Triathlon has moved to Lake Evans in the Buena Vista Recreational Area.

🚨 Important Safety Notice

Due to the Garnet Fire, there is significant fire-fighting activity in and around Shaver Lake. The fire continues to spread, and air quality has been shifting rapidly between good and hazardous as wind conditions change.

📅 Triathlon Cancellation Update

We have received official notice from the Sheriff’s Office that the Triathlon cannot take place at Shaver Lake on September 14.

🤝 Relocation to Lake Evans

With short notice, Kern County Parks & Recreation has graciously allowed us to relocate the event to Lake Evans on the same date.
