Jack’s Team 5K Run & Walk Remembering Jack Hankee

Event Overview

Join us for the Jack’s Team 5K Walk and Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Southern Lehigh High School. This 5K is in memory of Jack Hankee, former Southern Lehigh middle school assistant principal who lost his fight with cancer last year.

About Jack Hankee

• Diagnosis: In November of 2023, Jack was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, which is an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer.
• Care: Thanks to the compassionate care and innovative treatment he received at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Jack was able to spend invaluable time with his loved ones.
• Impact: The time spent with family and friends made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
• Purpose: We walk and run not only to remember Jack, but to help others facing similar battles.

• Proceeds: All net proceeds from this event will go directly to support cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, helping to improve treatment options.
