🏃‍♂️ About the Foundation

• Founded: The Sayles & Sayles Foundation was founded in 2017, in honor of our two sons, Joseph & Kenneth Sayles.
• Tragic Loss: Both brothers passed away 5 weeks apart. At the age of 40, Joseph passed away of a heart attack, and at the age of 17, Kenneth passed away from Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer).
• Mission: We are working together to make a difference in our community and beyond the walls of our city.
• Support: We are here to encourage, educate and support those affected by heart disease and childhood cancer, supporting their families and friends.

• Event Types: LIVE (in-person) and VIRTUAL event.
• Location: The in-person event will be held in Houston, TX.
• VIRTUAL Participation: Families from around the USA can hold One Voice Walks in their communities.

🌟 Event Details

• Date & Time: Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:00 am
• Participation Perks: All participants will receive a custom tee shirt and a finisher medal.
• Packet Pick-Up: 8:30 AM race HQ at Generation Park, 250 Assay St., Houston, TX 77044
• Race Day Schedule: 9:00 am Prayer/Pledge, 9:10 am 1K (.62 mile) and 5K (3.2 miles) Race Begins, 9:15 am Course Closes.

🎓 Scholarship Fund

• Scholarships: The Sayles & Sayles Scholarship Fund is given to H.S. Seniors attending college and those in need of financial assistance as they undergo treatment.
• Beneficiaries: Funds also support the American Heart Society.
• Event Activities: There will be food, beverages, vendors, and karaoke throughout the event.
