Think you’ve got the most Mardi Gras spirit? Contestants will show off their outfits at the start line, and the audience will crown the winner with their cheers.
The loudest cheers will earn a Bigfoot Prize Pack and the honor of being named the official Grand Marshal of Mardi Gras Madness.
This race is a moving second line parade. Aid stations are more than just hydration stops: they’re mini Mardi Gras block parties.
Awards are handed out live, right after you cross the finish line. Celebrate with your bead collection or enjoy a well-earned brunch!
Volunteer then Run: Run the 5K after volunteering for ~1.5 hrs.
Full Race Volunteer: Help with the event without running.
Earn a Bigfoot race shirt and your choice of a future race entry or a $20 gift card.
Rain or shine, Mardi Gras doesn’t stop for weather, and neither do we! Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hrs before start and the courses are primarily paved.
