Join the Seashore Striders for their opening event of the new year with a 5k out and back course beginning on the boardwalk and running north to the turn-around at Gordon's Pond, Cape Henlopen State Park. Join the fun and run or walk with your loved one...

👶 KIDS "CUPID" RUN

• Free Event: Kids 1/4 Mile Fun "Cupid" Run is free with no registration required and no t-shirt.
• Time: At 9:50 am, the kids will race 200m north on the boardwalk and 200m south to the finish line.
• Cheering: 5k runners will gather by the finish and cheer on the young runners.

Kids Dash at 9:50 am and 5k at 10 am.

💵 RACE REGISTRATION

• Individual 5k Registration:
• $30.00 Early-Registration through February 8th
• $35.00 Race Week from February 9th at 12:01 am - February 13th at 11:59 pm.
• $40.00 Race Day "Last Chance" February 14th Registration from 12:00 am - 9:50 am
• Please Note that expenses in Rehoboth Beach (Police, Bandstand & Permit Fees) are higher than other locations so we have no choice but to raise our event registration fee. We thank you for your understanding.

📝 3 WAYS TO REGISTER

• Online Registration: Register through RUNSIGNUP here at this site. The easiest & most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events.
• Race Day Registration: On-site registration begins 1 hour before the event. Some larger events may start 90 minutes before.
• Mail-In Registration: Download and print the Universal Entry Form from the Seashore Strider Event Page. Mail completed form to Seashore Striders: 9 Gander Lane: Lewes, DE. 19958.

🏁 RACE COURSE

3.11 mile out & back course from the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Avenue to the entrance to Cape Henlopen State Park at Gordon's Pond.

📏 COURSE ETIQUETTE

• All participants are required to run on the course that is marked with arrows and cones.
• Please stay on the road where it is marked and police are stationed.
• Failure to follow these race instructions could result in a disqualification from the event.

🚫 SEASHORE STRIDER COURSE GUIDELINES

• Bikes are not allowed on the course pacing any registered runner.
• Bandits (non-registered) runners are not allowed to be in the race running along/pacing any registered runner.
• Headphones/ear pods are discouraged due to safety concerns.

⏱️ RACE TIMING

Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.

🎽 RACE AMENITIES

Long Sleeve Cotton Race shirts guaranteed to all PRE-Registered participants by 2/10/25. Refreshments, chocolate, and bagels when available from Surf Bagel.

🏆 AWARDS

• 5k Individual Awards: Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and top 3 finishers in 10 year age groups from 9 & U to 80 & O.

🅿️ RACE PARKING

Parking will be on Rehoboth Avenue for this event and meters are not in effect.

📄 REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy. Options include: 1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider event of equal value, 2. Donate your entry fee to the charity or Seashore Strider Youth Running program, 3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.
