👟 Join the Tradition
Lace up your sneakers and mark your calendars! The 15th Year Constable Elementary PTO Turkey Trot Anniversary is just around the corner. We invite you to join us for this cherished tradition that unites our community and surrounding areas.
🏃♂️ Purpose of the Event
- Support the PTO: Your participation directly fuels our mission as this event is more than just a trot: it's a vital fundraiser.
- Enriching Programs: Every step you take, whether walking, jogging, or running, directly supports the PTO's mission to develop enriching programs and essential projects that enhance the curriculum for all Constable students and school.
- Family-Friendly: This event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Strollers and walking are welcome!
- Wear Costumes: We encourage participants to showcase their creativity by wearing turkey-themed costumes and accessories to make this year's celebration especially vibrant.
🎁 Give Back
While giving thanks, we also prioritize giving back to the community. Please bring a non-perishable canned good to contribute to our onsite donation box, which directly supports the essential work of the South Brunswick Food Pantry. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference to those in need.

📝 Race Day Notes
- Public Event: The event is open to the public, so bring your family and friends!
- Adult Supervision: Not a drop off event: all children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Registration: You can register either online or onsite.
- No Pets: No pets or bikes are allowed.
- Weather Preparedness: The event will happen, whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately.
⏰ Race Times
- 7:30-8:45 am: Race Check-in
- 8:00 am: Turkey-themed games and activities
- 8:30 am: 50-Yard Fun Run
- 8:55 am: Girls Half Mile Race
- 8:45 am: Boys Half Mile Race
- 9:10 am: National Anthem Performed by Constable School Choir
- 9:15 am: 5K Race
🏆 Race Prizes
- 5K Top Finishers: The top three finishers in the 5K Race will receive a frozen turkey.
- Half-Mile Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls in the Half-Mile Race (kids only).
- Participation Medals: All participants will receive a medal in the 50-yard dash.
♿ Accessibility
Please note that although the race course is generally flat, it may not be suitable for all abilities. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the route to assist as needed.
