The East Canyon Marathon has four distances: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K.

Full Marathon Course
- Start Location: Overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon.
- Scenic Route: Follows along pine trees, aspens, and several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir.
- Join Half Marathon: The Full joins the Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathon starts.
- Farmland Views: Around Mile 20, the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns.
10K and 5K Courses
- Course Type: Out and back courses.
- Start Location: Begin where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.
