🕒 Race Times

• 8K Start: 9:00 AM
• 2K Start: 8:15 AM

🏅 Honoring Local Heroes

• Horace Ashenfelter: The 8K Run honors local hero and Olympic Champion, Horace Ashenfelter, who won the steeplechase event at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, Finland.
• Tom Fleming: The 2K Run honors local hero Tom Fleming who won the 1973 and 1975 New York City Marathons.

🗺️ Course Details

• 8K Course: A USATF Certified “relatively flat” road course with two water stops through historic Glen Ridge.
• 2K Course: The one mile course is USATF certified: an out and run back on Ridgewood Avenue.

🏆 Awards and Discounts

• USATFNJ Championships: All Divisions 8K Championships - 700 Points.
• Member Discount: USATF NJ Members receive a $3 discount up until 11/21 (discount taken off during registration).
• Awards Process: All 8K Awards will be grab and go.
• Awards Location: Weather permitting, the awards table will be in the High School parking lot: otherwise, it will be in the gym.
