🐾 Welcome to the Tangi Animal Friends Event!

Join us for the inaugural Tangi Animal Friends Wag, Walk and Run 5K & 1 Mile Dog Walk & Fun Run presented by Stafford Veterinary Hospital.

This is a dog-friendly event to raise funds for Tangi Animal Friends.

🐶 About Tangi Animal Friends

Non-Profit Organization: Tangi Animal Friends is a local 501c3 non-profit group that has partnered with many local veterinary hospitals & rescues.
Financial Assistance: They provide financial assistance towards the spay and neutering of dogs and cats.
Community Focus: Their focus is to provide pet parents with access to low-cost spay and neuter options, especially those in financial need.
Veteran Support: They help US Veteran pet parents with various initiatives.

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

WE HAVE A LITTLE CHANGE OF SCENERY...The course will be an out and back starting & finishing at North Oak Park.

🐕 1 Mile Dog Walk

Get your pup ready to Wag, Walk & Run! The 1 Mile is a dog-friendly dog walk with a human option to run.

Kids Awards: The first 3 kids 13 & under to cross the finish line will be awarded with custom medals.
Finisher Medals: AND YOUR PUP WILL GET A FINISHERS MEDAL TOO!!

🏅 5K Run

The 5K will be a chipped timed event! The 5K is ONLY for the humans—NO DOGS ALLOWED. This is for the safety of all participants and pets.

🏆 Awards and Finisher Medals

Overall Awards: 5K Overall Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, Male & Female.
Age Group Awards: Awards will be presented for ages 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Finisher Medals: All human finishers of the 1 Mile and the 5K will receive a custom finisher's medal.
Discount: There is a $5.00 discount when signing up for both the 5K & 1 Mile Dog Walk & Fun Run.

But wait! The fun doesn’t stop there. We will have the traditional water and post-race food, along with some fun contests planned too.

Largest Group Award: So, get your group together and sign up!
Look-Alike Contest: Participate in the Owner & Pet look-alike contest.
Best Dressed Pup: Enter the Best Dressed Pup contest with prizes.
Photo Op: A backdrop for a photo opp will be available for you and your pup.
