Grab your buns and get ready — it’s time to ketchup with your friends at The Wiener Run! Join us this May for a hilarious, high-energy, springtime celebration of running, picnics, and pups — complete with a free hot dog and beverage at the finish line! 🐶🌸

Community Involvement

This isn’t just a run — it’s a full-on BBQ bash with a side of community love. We’re proud to partner with a local wiener dog rescue group, donating a portion of proceeds to help fund their rescue operations. We’ll also be collecting dog food, toys, and treats for our four-legged friends — so bring a bag and show some puppy love!

Race Distances

• Kids Dash: “The Tiny Wienie Run” (10 & Under) - A fun, 20-yard dash for our littlest runners! Includes a race tee, a finisher medal, and an exclusive “Tiny Wienie” pin. Not timed — just pure fun and laughter.
• 1 Mile: “The Little Wiener Run” - Perfect for all ages and experience levels! Includes a race tee, finisher medal, and plenty of cheers. Not chip-timed.
• 5K (3.11 miles): “The Short Wiener Run” - Chip-timed with awards, music, and post-race celebration! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin, Standard age group awards.
• 10K (6.22 miles): “The Long Wiener Run” - Double the distance, double the glory! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Recognition pin, Standard age group awards.

• 7:55 AM: Kids Dash (meet at start line)
• 8:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run: Be part of the action and then earn your bun! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

Schedule:

• Arrive 1.5 hrs early to help with packet pickup
• Run the 5K
• Help hand out awards post-race

• Rain or shine: it’s BBQ season either way!

• Course Surface: Expect a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths.
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks — please share the path with dog walkers and picnickers.
