13th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K

🌾 Welcome to the 13th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K!

We are looking forward to another wonderful race. Last year was our highest turnout ever! Thank you to our sponsors, runners and donors. We appreciate you all for coming out and supporting the race. Over the years together, we have raised over $35,000.00 and have collected thousands of pounds of food to help the families of our community. We are very proud that the proceeds will benefit the Niles Family Services Food Pantry in supporting families in need by raising money through the fee to participate and donations. Any runners who sign up for the race will receive a race package the day of the race. Please sign up to run, sponsor and/or donate today.

🏃‍♂️ Race Information:

• Race Time: 8 am
• Location Start/Finish: At the parking lot of Notre Dame College Prep High School, 7655 W Dempster St. Niles, IL 60714
• Awards: Each Participant will receive a Participation Medal, picked up at the race.

🍽️ Why is it so important to support the Niles Family Services Food Pantry?

• Community Needs: In our community there are many people, young, elderly and in-between, who do not have the resources to feed themselves or their families adequately.
• Emergency Aid: The Niles Family Services exists to aid those who need food, especially on an emergency basis. We want to make sure that every person has the food they need to sustain themselves.

🛒 Current Food Pantry Needs:

• Cleaning Supplies: The highest priority need for donations to the food pantry right now are cleaning supplies.
• Disposable Items: Also needed are paper plates, plastic utensils, and cups.
• Food Donations: If you prefer to donate food items, the most useful items are canned fruit, canned vegetables, tuna, cereals (individual sized), oatmeal, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly, Chef Boyardee cans, chili, and pasta sauce.
