Join us for our 11th Annual Peoria Hippity Hop Half Marathon - 10K - 5K - Cottontail Dash event as we continue an Easter tradition at the Peoria Sports Complex!

🥚 Cottontail Dash Details

• Event Type: Untimed half mile fun run with an egg hunt
• Medals: All participants receive a finisher's medal and a shirt
• Egg Hunt: Participants can bring their bag/basket or one will be provided
• Note: Parents accompanying their children do not need to register

📅 Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: March 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM at Habit Burger & Grill
• Race Day Registration: Opens at 6:00 AM on March 28, 2026
• Half Marathon Start: 7:00 AM on March 28, 2026
• Cottontail Dash Start: 7:10 AM on March 28, 2026

🌧️ Race Day Information

• Registration: Starting at 6:00 AM
• Payments: Cash and credit cards accepted, checks are no longer accepted
• Course: Open use trails of the New River Trail System
• Weather Policy: Event takes place rain or shine: no refunds due to weather

💧 Water Stations and Course Support

• Water Stations: Located at intervals throughout the courses
• GU Gels: Provided at certain locations for half marathon runners
• Restrooms: Available at various points on the course
• Safety: Wheelchairs, strollers, and leashed pets welcome

Packet Pickup is available on the following dates:

• Date: February 28th from 2-5 PM at Habit Burger & Grill
• Race Day: Starting at 6:30 AM at Rio Vista Park
