Cottontail Dash

• Description: The Cottontail Dash is an untimed half mile fun run with an egg hunt along the route.
• Finisher's Medals: All participants receive a finisher's medal and a shirt.
• Bring Your Own Basket: You may bring your own bag/basket or one will be provided for you.
• Participation Note: Parents accompanying their children do not need to register.

Participant Limit

• Event Limit: This event is limited to 1500 participants.

Virtual Run Details

• Participation: If you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and the shirt then you still can!
• Shipping: All prices include shipping and items will ship following the event on March 28th.
• US Only: Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only.

What You Get

• Medal: Custom Event Medal for all participants.

• Brunch: Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc.).

Cottontail Dash Details

• Participants: All participants receive a finisher's medal and shirt.
• Wave Splitting: Due to popularity, the dash will be split into 2 waves by age.
• Registration: Parents accompanying children do not need to register.
• Limit: The event has a 125 person limit.

Race Day Information

• Registration Time: Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 6:00 am.
• Payment: Accepting cash and credit cards. Checks are not accepted.

  • Half Marathon: $90
  • 10K: $60
  • 5K: $50
  • Cottontail Dash: $30
• Course: Takes you through open use trails of the New River Trail System.

Water Station and Course Support

• Water Locations: Stations will be available throughout the course.
• GU Gels: Available for half marathon runners at specified miles.
• Restroom Access: Located at various miles for participant convenience.
• Support: Course will be staffed for your safety and comfort.

Packet Pickup Opportunities

• First Pick-Up: Friday, March 27th from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Road Runner Sports - Phoenix.
• Location: Road Runner Sports is located at 7077 E Mayo Blvd, Suite 150, Phoenix, AZ 85054.
• Second Pick-Up: Saturday, March 28th at Peoria Sports Complex starting at 6 am.
• Event Schedule: Various events from packet pickup to race start times.
