Race Overview
Arizona runners don't stop running as the temperatures rise - we just get started a little earlier!
Join us as we continue the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series with our third leg at Rio Vista Park!
This event features a 5K distance and is limited to 700 participants.

Arizona Sunrise Series Events
- Series Savings: Why run in just one event when you can save so much by registering for the whole Series! (7 total events)
- Big Prizes: This is a StartLine Racing Series which means big prizes!
- Points System: Get points for every event you complete, with extra points based on your age group and overall finish.
- Prize Drawing: Top 100 point earners and participants completing at least 4 of the 7 series events will be entered into our Prize Drawing.
Registration Options
- Mail-in Registration: Complete and return the Mail-in Registration Form by June 8, 2026.
- Virtual Run Registration: Participate from anywhere! Register here.
- Payment: We accept cash and credit cards on race day.
- Registration Fee: $50 on race day.
What You Get!
- Medals: Custom Series Medal and Medal Add-on for each race completed.
- Swag: Dri-Fit Racerback Tank Top, Sleeveless Shirt or Short Sleeve Shirt.
- Awards: Male and Female Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups.
- Post-Race: "Runner's Brunch" with snacks and drinks.
Race Day Information
- Packet Pickup: Available at Road Runner Sports on June 12, 2026, and at Rio Vista Park starting 5:30 AM on race day.
- Course: New River Trail System, starting and ending at Rio Vista Park.
- Accessibility: Wheelchairs, strollers & wagons are welcome; leashed pets are allowed.
- Weather Policy: The race will occur rain or shine. No refunds for weather cancellations.
Starting Options
- Open Start Line: From 5:30-6:15 AM, participants can start at their convenience.
- Mass Start: A traditional start at 6:30 AM.
- Course Restrictions: No roller blades/skates, skateboards, or motorized devices allowed.
- Walking: Walkers are welcome!
