Description

• Friendly Event: Bring out your four-legged friend as this race truly is "for the dogs".
• Distances: This year's event will feature a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile distances.
• Beneficiary: The event will take place at Rio Vista Park to benefit AZK9 Rescue.
• Dog-Friendly: This event is completely dog friendly, complete with doggy pools at each aid station!

Registration Information

• Mail-in Registration: To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form.
• Virtual Race: Can't make it but want to participate? Join the Running For the Bulls Virtual Race, which can be done anywhere.
• Finisher's Medal and Shirt: All virtual participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and shirt, mailed after the event.
• Eligibility: Virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses only.

All Participants Receive

• Custom Medal: Each participant receives a custom event medal.
• Event Shirt: Custom event tech shirt provided.
• Age Group Awards: Top three in all age groups for the 10K and 5K events (race day participants only).
• Pre- and Post-Race Brunch: Options include granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade (race day participants only).

Race Day Information

• Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:00 AM at Rio Vista Park (map).
• Payment: We accept cash and credit cards on race day.
• Race Day Registration Costs: 10K - $50, 5K - $40, 1 Mile - $30.
• Allowed Participants: Wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, and leashed pets are welcome!

Event Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Saturday, October 3, 2026, 2:00 PM - TBD from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
• Race Day Packet Pick-up: Sunday, October 4, 2026, starting at 6:00 AM.
• 10K Run Begins: Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 7:00 AM.
• Awards Ceremony: Approximately 8:00 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
