💚 Support Our Mission

Support our mission to create scholarships for schools and students to visit the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program and provide outreach to local classrooms. You can sign up for the 5K and Festival together, or you can sign up to attend just the Earth Day Festival at a lower price. If you can't attend this year, but still wish to donate, we have that option as well.

🤝 Sponsorship and Volunteering

If you or your business wish to SPONSOR the race as a SEA TURTLE, BOBCAT, or PELICAN sponsor, or if you wish to VOLUNTEER on the day of the event, please contact the Barrier Island Program at [email protected] for more information.

📋 Important Information

• Lodging opportunities: are available for individuals and groups: Contact Katie Sullivan for discounted group cabin rates at [email protected].
• Bring: your own folding chair or blanket to the festival.
• Earth-friendly: We encourage participants to bring personal water bottles for Water Refill Stations. We want to be as Earth-friendly as possible!
• No Dogs: are allowed for this event. We love our fur friends but we anticipate large crowds and small children. The safety and comfort of all our guests is our top priority.
• Course Caution: Some areas of the course offer uneven terrain including gravel, sand, roots, and boardwalk - please be cautious. Strollers are not recommended for this race.
