🏃 Event Overview
The Charlie Post Classic 15K and 5K run and walk is the Charleston Running Club's signature winter event.
- About Dr. Charlie Post: This run/walk honors the memory of Dr. Charlie Post, a well-known Charleston runner, triathlete, and family physician.
- Impact: Dr. Post volunteered his time and medical talents to the running community.
- Affiliations: He was an active member of the Charleston Running Club and served the College of Charleston’s student health services.
- Legacy: Dr. Post was also the school’s team physician for varsity sports.
🏞️ Course Details
Our run and walk take place on USATF Certified Courses in beautiful Sullivan's Island, South Carolina.
- Proceeds: Benefit the Dr. Charlie Post Scholarship Fund at the College of Charleston.
- Additional Support: Proceeds also support the Charleston Animal Society and Sullivan's Island Fire and Rescue.
