Race Overview
The City of Goose Creek Police Department is hosting the 6th annual Hot Pursuit 5K. The race will be held on June 13th at 8:30 am, starting at the Goose Creek Municipal Complex.
Course Description
- Path: Traverses paved hiker/biker trails and roadways.
- Return: Participants will return to the municipal center.
- KIDS RUN: A half-mile race following the path around the lake.
- Cost: FREE event for children, starting at 7:30 am.
Packet Pickup Information
- Early Pickup: At the Goose Creek Police Department lobby, located at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek, SC 29445.
- Date & Time: Friday, June 12th between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm.
- Race Day Pickup: Available from 6:00 am until 7:30 am.
- Location: Same as early pickup.
Awards and Medals
- Categories: Awards for top three male and female finishers in age groups: 19 or younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
- Prizes: For the top three finishers in each age group.
- Finisher Medals: Awarded to the first 500 runners to finish.
- T-shirt Availability: Guaranteed only for online registrants: size selection is final.
Event Proceeds
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards organizing the Goose Creek Police Department's sponsored events, such as Shop with a Badge and Operation Christmas Joy.

- Friday, June 12th: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm: Packet Pick-up at the Goose Creek Police Department lobby.
- Saturday, June 13th:
- 6:00 am - 7:30 am: Race day packet pick-up.
- 7:30 am: Kids Run Starts.
- 7:45 am - 8:15 am: Pre-Race Warmup.
- 8:30 am: 5K Starts.
- 10:00 am: Awards.
