Event Overview

Join us for the 6th annual G.O.A.T.5K trail race! Welcome to Kiawah River, where participants will enjoy the beautiful trails and unmatched views of springtime in the Lowcountry at Kiawah River. The race will start and finish with the adorable baby goats at The Goatery, located at Kiawah River. Join us after the race for biscuits, coffee and a Farmer's Market with farm fresh produce and specialty goods!

Participant Takeaways

Unique Commemorative Item: All participants will receive a one-of-a-kind hat to commemorate this unique event!
Finisher Reward: In lieu of finisher medals, all finishers will be given a farm fresh plant from one of our local farms.
Awards: Overall and Age Group Awards will include fresh farm produce and goods from our local farmers.

Accommodation: Looking for more fun at Kiawah River? Check out The Dunlin Resort on the property and make it a weekend stay or join them for brunch after the race.
Outdoor Activities: Head over to Coastal Expeditions at Kiawah River and rent a kayak or paddleboard and check out all that Kiawah River has to offer.

FAQs for Race Preparation

Parking: Head to 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Once you turn into the driveway, follow the road for 1.5 miles to meet our parking attendants. Carpooling is encouraged!
Packet Pickup: Race packet pickup is on Friday, April 24th from 10am - 6pm at Blue Sky Endurance. There will also be race day packet pickup from 7:30-8am on site at the Goatery.
Chip Timing: Yes, the 5K race is chip-timed.
Strollers: All-terrain strollers are welcome but must start in the back.

Additional Information

Walking: Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. The 5K course is a natural course with beautiful scenery.
Dogs: We ask that you leave dogs at home, as they disturb the donkeys at The Goatery.
Registration Includes: Chip-timed trail run, race trucker hat, eco-friendly plants for all finishers, and prizes for top 3 winners.
Registration Fee: $45 until 4/1/25, then $55. Race day registration is $60.

The Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund, Inc. promotes education, research, and the administration of game and fish laws to benefit conservation of wildlife and natural resources in South Carolina. Net proceeds from the G.O.A.T. 5K support this essential local nonprofit.
