15th Annual Breeze in the Trees 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Information

• Start time: 7:00am
• Bib pickup begins at: 6:15 am

🎽 Features

• T-shirt: Free 50/50 blend T-shirt to all participants registered by 7/15/26. (After this date we cannot guarantee availability or correct sizing)
• Pancake breakfast: Topped with Green Valley Pecans provided by the Green Valley Firefighters Association.
• Refreshments: Coffee, water, and snacks
• Awards: Gift Certificates to the Running Shop for Masters and Overall winners ($100, $60, $50, and $30)

🏆 Awards

• Divisions: Awards to top three finishers in age divisions (kids, Teens, 20+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+, 80+)
• Sanctioned: The event is USATF Sanctioned
• Medals: Collectible medal for the first 300 runners to cross the finish line.
• Timing: Chip Timing will be used

🌳 Course Information

This run is part of the "Orchard Series," which offers runners the chance to traverse the pecan orchards at various seasons of the year. The Breeze in the Trees event occurs early in the morning during the summer when the trees boast a full canopy of leaves. Though the pecans aren't yet ripe for consumption, they have reached their maximum size. This provides participants with a rare opportunity to explore the farm and enjoy a truly spectacular running experience amidst the trees.
