Kiwanis El Segundo PTA Run for Education 5K/10K

Registration Information

• Early Registration: Register before price increase at midnight April 13, 2026.
• Online Registration: Closes at 8pm on Friday, April 24th.
• In-Person Registration: Available April 25th at 6:30am.
• Packet Pickup: Thursday, April 23rd 5-8pm, Friday, April 24th 11am-7pm.

Event Details

• Race Options: 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run on closed streets.
• Fun Runs: 1K for ages 6-10 and 1/2K for ages 2-5, with free entry for youth registered in the 5K.
• Post Race Expo: Large Expo at the Finish Line.
• Certification: USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event with certified courses.

Race Features

• Timing: Chip timing with mile markers and multiple water stations.
• Finisher Medals: Custom die cast medals for all participants.
• Goodies: Race t-shirt and goodie bag for registrants (while supplies last).
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds support El Segundo Unified Schools, pre-K to 12th grade.

Awards

• Top Performers: Trophies for top 3 overall male and female for 5K and 10K.
• Age Categories: Medals for top 3 in various age groups.
• Team Awards: Special medals for team type winners.
• Venue: Start/finish at El Segundo High School, 640 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245.
