Hey, Texas! Are You Ready to run for freedom? This summer, gear up for the Texas Red, White and Blue Half Marathon—the most exhilarating race to hit the Lone Star State! Hosted by Bigfoot Running Company, this event will take you on a breathtaking journey through Texas’ stunning trails, showcasing all the natural beauty our state has to offer.

• Event Options: Whether you’re tackling the Kids Dash, sprinting 2 miles, or going for glory in the 4, 8, or 13.1-mile distances, there’s something for everyone!
• Personal Goals: Are you aiming for a personal best, or just looking to have a blast with friends and family? This race is perfect for you!

Race Day Experience

• Refueling: After crossing the finish line, refuel with tasty snacks and refreshing bottled water.
• Support Stations: With multiple aid stations along the route, you’ll be well taken care of.
• Entertainment: Get ready to groove with DJ Sasquatch, spinning all the hits at our lively race rally tent!

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: A 50-meter dash designed for kids 10 and under, includes a tee shirt and kids dash medal.
• 2 Mile: Designed for all ages and experience levels, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 4 Mile: Chip timed event featuring trophies for first overall male and female finishers.
• 8 Mile: Also chip timed, featuring trophies and special recognition pins.
• Half Marathon: Our Half Marathon race will take you 13.11 miles through the course.

Standard Age Group Awards

• Overall Awards: 1st overall M/F - Trophy, 1st overall M/F Masters age 40+ - Special recognition award lanyard pin.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pins for various age categories.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 5:30-6:45am
• Kids Dash: 6:55 am
• Race Start: 7:00am National Anthem and Race Start!

Volunteer Opportunities

Many positions available for volunteers, from water stations to course monitors and finish line helpers. Volunteers receive race shirts and other perks.

Important Notes

• Weather Policy: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Always offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Course Details: Expect paved trails but mixed course surfaces should be anticipated.
