BE FAST 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

This 5k run or 1 mile walk honors stroke survivors and their family members. Located in downtown Toledo at Promenade Park, participants will run along the Maumee River front, across the Cherry Street Bridge and through the beautiful Glass City Metropark.

💖 Fundraising Mission

• Proceeds: 100% of registration, donations, and raffle proceeds will go directly into The ProMedica Foundation Stroke Patient Assistance Fund.
• Purpose: The fund assists with costs for medications, health equipment, health supplies, transportation, and rent/utilities for stroke patients in need.

🎟️ Your Entry Includes

• Events: Entrance to the 5K Run/1 Mile Walk.
• Timing: Bib Chip Timing.
• Merchandise: BE FAST Stroke 5k T-Shirt.
• Refreshments: Snacks and Drinks, Post race meal.
• Health & Safety: Free Stroke Risk Assessments including blood pressure screenings.
• Education: Stroke Educational Material.
• Community: Entrance into the community resource fair with multiple vendors.
• Activities: Face painting/balloon animals, DJ, and photography.

⏰ Race Schedule

• Kids Fun Run: Starts at 9:30 am (100 yard dash).
• Walk: Starts at 9:45 am.
• Run: Starts at 10:00 am.
• Registration Fee: $25.00 until 11:59 pm on 8/30/2025: $35.00 after 8/31/2025.

Registration is free for stroke survivors.

🎉 Silent Auction & Raffle

Silent auction and raffle items will be available! Raffle starts at 11:15 am following the Awards Ceremony.

🛑 Important Reminders

• Shirts: Race shirts are not guaranteed after September 1, 2025.
• Pickup: You must be present to receive your shirt. Shirts will not be mailed unless you are a virtual participant.
