Pier to Pier Challenge Swim & 5k Run

8th Annual Pier to Pier Challenge Swim

Join us for some fun in the sun down at the shore!

Course Details

• Distance: The 1 mile course will be in the form of an apex.
• Course Shape: Swimmers will enter the water in an apex triangle.
• Finish: Participants will exit the water through a finish chute.
• Spectator Friendly: This course is unique for both swimmers and onlookers.

New for 2025

• 5k Run: We are adding a beach run alongside the swim.
• Sand Running: The majority of the run will be along the water on hard-packed sand.
• Kids Run: Also introducing a 1 mile kids run.

Double Down Challenge

Looking for a challenge? Why not participate in the 5k and the swim? You must sign up for both events individually.

Participant Perks

• Items Included: Participants will receive a swim cap and a t-shirt.
• Timing: Professional chip timing will be provided.
• Benefit: This event helps benefit the Wildwood Beach Patrol.

Awards - Swim

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female.
• Age Group Awards: Top finishers in each Age Group.
• Beach Patrol: Top 4 times on the team are used to determine team score.
• Swim Club: Top 4 times on the team are used to determine team score.

Awards - 5K

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in 10 year age groups.

Event Presentation

Event is presented by The Wildwood Beach Patrol and Even Kiel Racing.

Race Day Schedule

• Parking: Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots.
• Check-in: Use the Lincoln Ave beach entrance; check-in by the main lifeguard stand will begin at 8am.
• Race Start Times: 5k starts at 8am; Swim starts at 10:30am.
