8th Annual Pier to Pier Challenge Swim

Join us for some fun in the sun down at the shore!

Swim Description

• Course: The 1 mile course will be in the form of an apex triangle.
• Entry: Swimmers will enter the water, swim out, and then exit the water through a finish chute.
• Unique: This course is spectator friendly.
• Kids Run: We are also adding a 1 mile kids run.

5k Beach Run

• Location: The run will be on the beach.
• Surface: The majority of the run will be along the water on the hard packed sand.
• Challenge: Why not participate in the 5k and the swim?
• Sign Up: You must sign up for both events individually.

Participant Benefits

• Gear: Participants will receive a swim cap and t-shirt.
• Timing: Professional chip timing will be provided.
• Support: This event helps benefit the Wildwood Beach Patrol.

Awards - Swim

• Top Finishers: Top 3 Overall Male/Female.
• Age Groups: Top finishers in each Age Group.
• Team Scores: Top Beach Patrol (top 4 times on team are used to determine team score).
• Swim Clubs: Top Swim Club (top 4 times on team are used to determine team score).

Awards - 5K

• Overall: Top 3 Overall Male and Female.
• Age Groups: Top 3 in 10 year age groups.

Event is presented by The Wildwood Beach Patrol and Even Kiel Racing

Race Day Schedule

• Parking: Parking will be street parking or in the lots.
• Check In: Please use the Lincoln Ave beach entrance. Check in will be done by the main lifeguard stand on the beach. Check in will begin at 7:45.
• Race Start: 5k starts at 8:30 am. Swim starts at 10:00.
